A Little Update

My schedule has been crazy lately and I haven't been able to buy any music because of car troubles and money troubles. It's looking very beautiful today I have to add. Lately, I've been listening to Folk music. I just got the Avey Tare & Kria Brekkan record, I really like it. I have two albums on my to get list that I have to make note of, the first one is a EP put out by G.S.H. aka Prefuse 71+2 etc etc etc this time he's going under the Ahmad Szabo moniker with Leb Laze and the second one is a split EP by Album Leaf/On!Air!Library!. So, with that said I'll be back with some updates in the near future.

Fila Brazillia

I got a new album today from Fila Brazillia. I first heard of them about 4 yrs ago and I have to say they're not bad.

iTunes 8 is not bad too it'll take time to get used to it though.

Why Poison Darts?

Well, I am very lame when it comes to creating names for domains or anything I do. I don't know how so many people can come up with cool blogspot names "how do they do it ?" I am sure real fans of Hip-Hop can put two and two together and figure out where they heard of Poison Darts from. The answer is the Wu-Tang Clan for those who don't know.



I love what these guys did for hip hop and their rhymes were all lethal. Hence, that is reason why I named my blog Poison Darts. Because, I want my posts to be lethal.......Ah, never mind that sounded mad corny. You get the deal though right? if not watch this:

It's been a long time...

Man, I haven't been on here in a long time. I did manage to start blogging on other websites, its kinda hard to keep up with all my blogs. Nothing has really changed since my last entry here. I'm still trying to collect music though. I went to New York 2 months ago and I finally put a name this shop that I stumbled upon. The name of the place is called "The Thing" its in Brooklyn on Greepoint Ave. It is a must see if you're in the NY area here's a pic of what I got when I was there.

I did take more pictures of this place but I'm not to savvy with blogging =I unfortunately. Other types of stuff "The Thing" carries besides records if you're not into that are; Comic Books and lots of them, Books, Magazines, Clothes, the list goes on. I really did like visiting that place I went back 2 times just to prove it. If you can't bare to stay down and dig for records because it can get kinda warm down there, to the right of The Thing there's a nice Ice Cream shop. But, if you love diggin' like I do be ready. The only draw back I would have to say is the place closes at 7 or 7:30 and so get in there early.
